# 42. Proof of domain ownership

> Provide proof of your domain ownership to meet the KYC/KYB verification requirements.

<ResponseField>
  ## 42.1 Introduction

  As part of the website verification process, every merchant must provide **proof of domain ownership**.\
  This confirms that the website used during onboarding is officially owned or registered by the same company applying for a Checky Pro account.

  This step helps prevent fraudulent applications and ensures that all merchants process payments only through domains that belong to their registered business.\
  \
  Submitting a **valid domain invoice** or **purchase confirmation** allows our compliance team to verify ownership quickly and move your onboarding process forward without delay.

  ## 42.3 Final notes

  Providing a valid Proof of Domain ensures a smooth and fast onboarding process.\
  It allows Checky Pro and our acquiring partners to confirm that your store operates under a legitimate, verifiable website domain.

  Before uploading, make sure:

  * The document is **official** and includes both the **company name** and **domain provider**
  * The **domain name** is clearly visible
  * The file is uploaded as a **PDF** or **clear full-page screenshot** of the invoice

  Once submitted, our compliance team will review your document directly in the onboarding flow and confirm acceptance.

  A verified domain is essential for ensuring transaction safety, transparency, and trust between your business, your customers, and Checky Pro.
